What the screen says
The take 5 template comes with sample wording for energy, water, utilities and mining sites, so you only need to change the details. Out of the box it reads:
- BEFORE EVERY TASK
- Take 5
- Five minutes, five steps. Fill in the card and keep it on you.
- Stop
- Pause before you start. Think through the task.
- Look
- Walk the area. What's changed since yesterday?
- Assess
- What could hurt you or your crew today?
- Control
- Fix it, isolate it or barricade it first.
- Proceed
- Start when it's safe. Stop if anything changes.
Good for: take 5, risk assessment, pre-task, safety, crews.
