Show the current weather for any city in the world. POMP fetches it on the server and refreshes it automatically, so the screen is always up to date with no manual work.

How it works
Add a Current Weather screen, type a city and country, and save. POMP looks up the location on the server, fetches current conditions and keeps them fresh in the background, so each TV only has to download a small update rather than calling a weather service itself.
The screen shows the temperature, a description of the conditions and an icon that switches between day and night versions. Newer players add the feels-like temperature, today's high and low, humidity, wind, the day's temperatures as a simple chart and a three-day forecast.
If you'd rather keep your own branding on screen, add a weather element to a custom design instead. It uses the same live data, so you can place the temperature next to your logo, a welcome message and a clock.

How often does weather update?
POMP refreshes each location in the background about every 15 minutes, and screens pick up the new conditions at their next check-in. There's nothing to update by hand.
Which places can I show?
Almost any town or city in the world. Type the place and country, such as 'Christchurch, New Zealand' or 'Leeds, United Kingdom'. Use a separate screen for each location you want to show.
Is it Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Temperatures are shown in degrees Celsius and wind speed in kilometres per hour.
What does the weather screen show?
Current temperature and conditions with a day or night icon. On POMP player 2.1 and later it also shows feels-like temperature, today's high and low, humidity, wind and a three-day forecast.
Which devices show live weather?
It works on every POMP player: Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV devices, iPad, and any modern web browser at player.pompsignage.com, which covers PCs, kiosks and most smart TVs with a browser. Native apps for Amazon Fire TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs are coming soon.
Which plans include live weather?
Live weather is a premium integration, included on the Basic, Pro and Advanced plans. It isn't part of the Free plan, so you can try POMP on Free with images, video and designs, then upgrade when you want Live weather on your screens.
